Browsers: There is no reason for people to use outdated browsers
when the industry leaders provide them for free. Netscape has a very nice stand
alone browser which is a faster download than the big packages and which will serve you
well. Download it, and other Netscape browsers here. Microsoft
fans can get their products by clicking on the image below.
File Viewers and Converters: There is a lot of file
sharing going on in this project. If you do not have the software on your computer,
you may be able to view the documents using a file viewer. You can download the
viewers for Microsoft products like Excel, Access, Word for Windows, and
Powerpoint. You
can also download file converters here.
Fonts: If all web pages look the same, it may be
because you do not have the fonts the designer has used to create them. A set of
core web fonts has been created by Microsoft that is included with many of their new
products and is supported by Apple and other hardware and software developers. You
can download them here.
This site was developed using fonts called Georgia and Trebuchet MS. If you
are seeing Arial, Helvetica and Times Roman, then you are missing some good typography.
